RE: How to handle non-RV family that want to borrow your MH?

Why do people have such a hard time saying no. Explanations are not needed. If they are people who do truly love you, then they will accept the NO, if it causes a family problem then obviously there is more to it than the RV.

RE: Buying a Tow Dolly

Craigslist and ebay are great places. Be patient, I looked for six months.

RE: 49er Football Game - A New Experience

Sounds great. I would love to be able to do that, But here our stadium is in a pretty crappy area and the team itself really sucks, so I enjoy football by watching the games from cities that actually have good teams and offer experiences like you have. Good luck, Mike Martz is a treat.

RE: Finding Campgrounds ?

Woodalls web site is great. You put in your city and state and it gives your CG in the area, along with reviews

RE: To cover or not

I cover mine with Florida sunshine. Much better than snow and ice. That sounds like the perfect solution. Unfortunatly kids and the job keep us shivering in the winter. I found a sunbrella custom fit. Thanks for the information. Hopefully we get a little thaw around the time we go down south for our yearly dose of winter warmth, and I can get the cover off easily.

RE: Mt Rushmore/Black Hills area Question

Great area we spent a week there in July, Take the wildlife loop thru Custer State Park, The Needles Highway is awesome, Take the time and go out to the Badlands well worth the drive. If you like caves, Wind Cave is tremendous, so is Rushmore Cave. Crazyhorse memorial is ok, and of cource Mt. Rushmore. Rafter J is by far one of the best CG we have ever been too, some of the other ones in the area looked ok. The town of Hill City is nice so are some of the other ones in the area for shopping. Enjoy

To cover or not

To all of you in winter states. Do you use a cover or not. I wonder with the snow, rain and just sitting in storage will a cover be worth it? Please let me know your experience good or bad. I do not mind spending the money if in the long run it will be worth it. Thanks in advance

RE: Bay City,Mi. winter campground ?

You will not find anything open thru the winter in or close to Bay City. Too cold, Utilities winterized and shut down. You may be better off finding a house to rent thru the winter.

Indiana Campground near Ft. Wayne

I have to come down to the FT. Wayne VA this month. I would like to know if somebody knows of a nice CG within 50 miles of Ft. Wayne. We want to bring the kids so someplace with lots of stuff to do. Private or State Park does not matter as long as its nice. Thank you in advance for your suggestions

RE: Dog Free Campgrounds/RV Parks

I love dogs and kids, We have both. But I can not stand going to a cg and finding my site full of dog crap. I do not appreciate your dog running up to my kids or my little 9 pound dog. I know you think your dog is cute, but I do not know your dog. And your large animal poses a threat to my kids. The few wreck it for the many as is always the case.

RE: Michigan - need help with finding a campground

Try Sterling State Park. Maybe outside your driving range but otherwise should work.

RE: Rafter J camp recommendation

We stayed in the Line section last spot on the end. Perfect no neighbors in front or to the left. Nothing but open meadow, gotta watch the deer each morning from the dining room table. Nice large site, A little noise from the road but we ended up not noticing after the first day. Great CG, we used it as a base and spent a lot of time taking in the sights.

RE: How long does it take to 'break camp'

We clean, wipe down and put everything in its place. We normally can break it totally down and be on the road in an hour to hour an a half.

RE: KarKaddy SS

We use the dolly and find it very easy to maintain, tow, load and unload. The ability for the wheels to turn makes turning very easy. I bought a used one for 850.00. I like ours very much

RE: We outgrew our TT

We outgrew our Zeppelin Z291. I found a Class A with great bunks. Hurricane 34B. I am well over six ft and fit into the bunks with no problem, they are also wide enough to be comfortable. The MH also has a bed in the couch. Ours has the air mattress option, quite large and comfortable. Good luck in your search.

RE: Keystone TT's....any good?

We had a Zeppelin Z291 and absolutely loved it. Keystone was great to work with on the one warrenty issue we had which was very minor. We looked at the Outback got the Zeppelin only because of the deal the dealer made at a show.
